Although I independently funded and filmed the full documentary, it wasn’t until I returned to the East Coast and completed post-production that I realized something essential was missing.

To truly honor Lynn and Bob’s story, we need to recreate pivotal scenes from their past – the trauma, abuse, homelessness, moments that shaped their lives. Without revealing the full depth of their struggle, their journey of resilience and unconditional love would feel incomplete.

I also realized I couldn’t do this next part alone; I need a proper crew and talented actors – paid fair wages – and that’s how the idea for crowdfunding was born.
