With a trailer you either make it or break it. I had to squeeze 20min of film into a 1min trailer that had to still make sense and tell the story in an impactful way. I can’t tell you how many versions I created before finalizing on this one. Here are a few ideas.

1.The trailer should give a general idea of what the story is about.
2. It should not give away much of the plot.
3. It should be quick-paced for obvious reasons.
4. There has to be a few emotional peaks to make the viewer want to watch the actual film.
The shorter the trailer, the harder it is. This is a 1min. 10sec. trailer for a short drama film, which was finished in Nov 2022.
