I am not a psychologist but do like to analyze certain situations especially when I feel there is a need for help. A recent conversation with one of my friends prompted me to share some of my notes.
‘…The mental state you r describing is usually due to several reasons which you normally don’t consciously register. It comes in waves and most obvious when you are unhappy about something.
The most common offending contributors to such mood are:
1. Uncertainty about the future.
2. A pretty significant decision that is hanging above your head and it won’t go away unless you make that decision.
3. Lots of other smaller problems that keep accumulating without adequate attention from you.
4. Lack of meaningful conversations with like-minded people that can clear or help to clear this mental mess for you.
5. Lack of meaningful activities with groups of people that give you a strong feeling of belonging.
How do you deal with all of this? Start with meaningful conversations with people you can connect with. They will point you in the right direction or at least give you an advice that will show you the possible ways to get untangled.
These types of conversations with the right people will give you a bird’s-eye view on your current situation quite literally and will give you a positive burst of energy that you were lacking.
It’s like a chain reaction: one thing sets the other.
Hope this will help to some of you reading. Cheers!
